ATTENTION!!
GSRs AND ISRs who are planning to attend the
2008 World Service Conference
There has
been some confusion about the $215.00 price of the hotel rooms
for Conference attendees. We are receiving reports that some
Conference participants are having trouble making hotel
reservation at the Conference rate.
The $215.00
DOUBLE ROOM price listed on the WSC Hotel Registration Form in
the packet is based on two people sharing a room, each paying
half of the single room price. The shared price divides the
cost, including taxes, between the two people.
IMPORTANT: If you do not
arrange a roommate, or if the roommate you arranged is not able
to share the room with you for any reason, you will be
responsible for paying $430.00, the full cost of the room.
Conference attendees should
arrange roommates before sending payment to the hotel. Roommates
can be arranged by visiting the Salt Lake City Host Committee
Website at
www.da2008wsc.org and clicking on the CONNECT link. You will
be asked to join a group, where you can make roommate
connections with other WSC participants.
Rooms at the Red Lion can be
reserved over the telephone with a debit card (which will not be
charged) and then payment can be made using either cash or a
debit card upon arrival at the hotel. To get the
Conference rate, be sure to tell the hotel that you are with the
DA World Service Conference.
